This is my dorm. My Dad did a nice job helping me out with decorating. When I say helping I mean coming with me to the store and paying for it. hahaha

It was my first day of school. A new place. New state. New life. I'm glad I knew at least on person Sky, but that wasn't enough to get through the day. I like all my teachers except gym but who ever likes there gym teacher??
 
Heres my schedule let me know if anyone has the same classes that me so I won't be such a loner!

The next morning I still felt tired. My brain was turned upside down. I smelled this aroma of scrambled eggs and bacon. I dragged my body into the kitchen area and found a plate with my name on it. (Seriously my name was on it in ketchup over the scrambled eggs! My Dad loved doing that when I was a little girl, and still does.) I dove right in!
"Good morning Alice." My Dad said with the newspaper in his hands and a cup of coffee on the table.
 
"Hey Dad" I managed to get out with pounds of food in my mouth.
 
"I can see you're enjoying your breakfast!" he said it like he was surprised. Maybe it’s because we haven't had a meal together in over a month! work. work. work.
 
I nodded my head with a piece of bacon in my mouth. Right then he said what I didn't want him to say.
 
"I gotta jet. Meeting at nine, and I'm going to go check on our new home! I'll see ya around four." he gave me a kiss and was out the door. If only we could spend the day together. Oh well I can always spend it with his credit card!!
 
I got dressed and was out the door to the lobby. We were staying at The Beverly Hilton, it was really nice. The lobby had a beautiful fish tank, with a rainbow of fish.
 
I walked out and a nice doorman opened the door for me. His name was Dan. I asked him were a good mall would be. He said The Beverly Center would be a good place to check out. I took the rental car and was off. Thank God for GPS!!
 
When I arrived it was 10:00am. Good mall probably just opened! I got a good parking spot wasn't crowded at all. The mall was a decent size. Had a lot of stores...and so little time! First place I hit was Lord & Taylor. Back at home we had a mall called Fair Oaks. Lord & Taylor was the closest high in store we had! But in LA I'm sure there are many possibilities.
 
I looked at some shoes, nothing shoot at me. I headed over to the Chanel make up counter and saw a a blonde girl with cute boots. She looked about my age. She then picked out my favorite gloss.
 
"Ooh that’s my favorite!" I said smiling.
 
"Same!! Some people say the coral is to pink but I love it! hahaha" she was a perky girl.
 
"Yea I totally agree."I murmured.
 
"Oh where are my manners! I'm Sky!" her smile was bright and her handshake was firm.
 
"I'm Alice." I felt awkward around her. Maybe because I miss Rebecca...Sky looks just like her.
 
For the rest of the day we stuck together. I also found out that we will be attending the same school on monday. I've grown attached to Sky she is like a friend you meet and never want to say goodbye to.
 
We just got frozen yogurt from Pink Berry and were walking into the Ed Hardy store. We were looking at their graphic tees and I see something else. It was him. The guy I saw at the Hot Topic store!! Could he really be hear us?? I mean a lot of guys have short/long slick black hair!! But only one has a black heart on his neck that says dead. It was him!
 
I gasped.
 
"What’s wrong" Sky asked.
 
"Nothing. I just umm know that guy." I was actually starting to blush!
 
"The guy with that, heart tattoo? He's a little grudge for my taste but he looks pretty cute for you!" When she said that he looked right over where we were! I hid my head. I knew he could hear us!
 
"Go on talk to him!" she said and pushed me lightly. But that light pushed had my tumbling with my bags falling on something....it was him!!

"I-I'm so sorry I didn't look where I was going!" I started babbling.
 
"No its okay. Hey do I know you?" he asked me. Wow even his voice was pretty.
 
"Um I don't think so. What's your name." oh if only he would say my name.
 
"I'm MaX. With a capital 'X'" he spoke with an edge.
 
"ha I'm Alice."
 
"Okay Alice what do you want to do." I was confused.
 
"What?" That was the first thing that camr to my mind. Brillent.
 
"Now that we know each other. Lets hang out." I was lost in his blue eyes, thank god for Sky.
 
"Thats cool 'cause I gotta get going you to guys have fun now." she then mouthed the words text me!
 
MaX and I had fun together. He told me what the tattoo on his neck meant. He said, "I feel that a long time ago my heart died and this shows how I feel."
 
"Wow" was the best I could come up with.
 
"Yea." he replyed back with.
 
He was so simple yet perfect. No words could discribe him.
 
Later on I asked him were he went to school. He said he went to some all boy privet scholl becaus he got kicked ou tof public school.
 
Great I fell in love with the bad boy.

The five hour plane ride from east coast to west coast is draning. It felt like it was never going to end! I was lucky I had a good book to read. The Lovely Bones by Alice Sebold was extrodanry! I swear this girl can write!
 
When we landed in LAX airport I was relived that the pain of being on an airplane was over but not that I was five hours away from my home. I don't care if its Virginia isn't my home anymore (as my Dad says its just a place you'll get over it) but I'm not. It will always be my home.
 
Since he dragged me here I asked him if I could have a mall day in return. He agreed and gave me keys to one of the rental cars and I was off. On my drive to the mall I wondered if I would be in California if Mom was still alive....
 
When I arrived at the mall (Universal Studios Boardwalk was the closets thing I could find to a mall so far...) I took out my EnV touch to let my Dad know where I was. No texts from my friends... they still must be mad at me for moving.
 
I walked around and found a billabong store. It was a surfer skater style. It was a fun store and I have scene there clothers before. And I did get a comfy tee so I was happy. A few stores down I run into a Coffe Bean. It wasn't a starbucks but still tasty. Chi tea did lift my spirts up.
 
As I'm walking along I come past a Hot Topic. I know not a store a preppy girl shops at. But the store does have twilight stuff so it can't be all bad. Right?
 
I start to look around the store see that they have new moon jewlary and see something I never thought I would see before. A hot guy was in Hot Topic. Yes he was emo/goth whatever but he also was HOTT!!! Maybe thats why they call this store Hot Topic.
 
His eyes were blue.
His hair was short/long slick black.
His small tatto on his neck was a heart.
Inside it said dead....
 
For some reason I think I was falling for this guy I just saw for no reason. It must be jet lag I thought. It had to be. I left the store. Went to the hotel were my Dad and I were staying at till all of our furniture had arrived. I put some comfy clothes on and took a nap to try and forget about this day.
